There is no school tomorrow (Friday, April 24). This is a statewide
in-service days for teachers, meaning that students have the day off
but teachers will be working. Have a good weekend!

REMINDERS
*Spring time in Oregon means that it may be 85 and sunny one day, 55
and rainy the next day. Please make sure that your children are
dressed appropriately for the weather, have a water bottle and
nutritious lunch every day. In hot weather, many students like to wear
flip-flops or sandals, but they should always bring sneakers or other
sturdy shoes for Out & About and physical activity. Please also make
sure they always have a jacket, even on those sunny days because, as
we all know, the weather can change very quickly.
*TAKING CARE OF OREGON DAYS at FGCS - Join us 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sat., May
2 at FGCS for this event, part of a statewide project sponsored by
SOLV to commemorate Oregon's 150th birthday. Coordinated by Americorps
member Laura Harley, students, parents, teachers, staff and community
members will be 'greening and cleaning' our school yard and grounds.
Activities will include planting, weeding, trash pick up and more. For
