 Clean, Green and Have Fun 10 a.m. Saturday at FGCS
|  Grab your gardening gloves and join us Saturday for Taking Care of Oregon day at FGCS. Led by Laura Harley, our tireless Americorps member, we'll be digging, planting, cleaning and perhaps even painting around the school from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This event, part of a statewide celebration of Oregon's 150th birthday, is a great opportunity for adults, teens and children to work together to make a positive difference in our community.
Stewardship is its own reward, but here are some extra incentives for volunteers:
-Food & beverages will be provided.
-All volunteers are eligible for door prizes on Saturday.
-If you register online(and participate), you could ride on on PGE's float in the Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade on June 6, 2009, AND one night's at the Hotel Deluxe in Potland. All volunteers who register online will be eligible. A winner will be selected randomly and the coordinator will be contacted to verify her or his participation.
-All participants take home a personalized, reusable grocery bag.
