 REMINDERS
-No School Weds., Nov. 11 - Veterans Day
-Level 2 students are at Outdoor School Tues., Nov. 10-Fri., Nov. 11. Parents/guardians are asked to deliver student luggage, gear and any medications to school between 6 and 7 p.m. Mon., Nov. 9. Students should arrive at school by 8:30 a.m. Tues., Nov. 10 to prepare for a 9 a.m. departure for Cedar Ridge Camp in Vernonia.
-Parents/Guardians: Please make sure your children, whether 6 or 16, come dressed for outdoor activities every day. Students who don't have appropriate footwear or jackets may have to be left behind and will miss important learning.
UPCOMING EVENTS
-FGCS Board of Directors will meet at 7 p.m. Tues., Nov. 10 in the Level 4 building. The meeting is open to the public and all are invited to attend.
-FGCS Parent-Teacher Organization will meet 7-8 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 12 in the Level 4 building. Please note that this is a change from the regular third Thursday meeting day. Topics for this meeting include planning for the December Book Fair, an FGCS entry in the local Light Parade on Dec. 5 and a family event at school on Dec. 9 called Night of Traditions. We need volunteers to help make all these events a success for our students -please come and get involved. |
