Dear FGCS Families and Friends - High school students in a
self-directed learning (SDL) class need adult mentors for their
individual research projects. Mentors will meet with students
occasionally to provide guidance and expertise and, if possible,
attend student presentations. Mentors can play important roles by
providing an 'outsider' perspective on students' school work or
helping them see how interests and passions can translate into jobs or
careers they may pursue as adults.
Below is a list of topics students are researching - if you can help,
know someone who might be able to or would like to learn more about
mentoring students in the SDL class, please contact Robin Lindsley at
